Best Western Plus Addis Ababa

The location is perfect: 7 to 9 minutes from Bole international airport. The free shuttle to and from airport (every full hour) is a plus. There are a good choice of malls, restaurants, cafes and clubs all within walk able range. A few supermarkets are close by too. Service is 10 out of 10 - from check in, to room service - everything was prompt and easy. Breakfast options are good and I think most people would be satisfied. The breakfast are itself is spacious and well lit. You can sit by the windows and get some morning sun. The restaurant and lounge bar downstairs offers a very decent range of food, very fairly priced and the quality is good. The rooms are carpeted so it gives a cozy feeling. The housekeeping is good. The general manager is always around personally ensuring things are run well - that is a very appreciated aspect.

I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation and admiration for the exceptional service I received during my recent stay at Best Western Plus Addis Ababa, from 8th up to 18th of June 2024. From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, I was deeply impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality shown by the entire team. I would like to particularly recognize and commend Samrawit, Kidist, Birrti, Tsion, Selem, Mihret, Menbru, and Kalkidan. Each one of them treated me ( and other guests ) with the utmost kindness, patience, and respect. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure comfort, adapting effortlessly to my needs with grace and professionalism. Having stayed in many hotels around the world, I can confidently say that I have never experienced such a high level of comfort and hospitality. The team at Best Western Plus Addis Ababa stands out as an extraordinary example of what true service and long term accomodation looks like ; friendly, respectful, attentive, and consistently courteous. In addition to the remarkable staff, I must also commend the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the hotel. From the reception to the housekeeping team, the carriers, and even the security guards ; every member of the staff contributed to a safe, welcoming, and friendly environment. This was by far the best hotel experience I have ever had, and it is largely because of the exceptional people who work there. I wholeheartedly and strongly recommend Best Western Plus Addis Ababa; not just for its facilities, but because of its outstanding team. Thank you once again for making my stay so memorable.

The General Manager Dolf Groenewald does a fantastic job connecting with guests and walking around during meal times to ensure everything is going well. He probably asked me 2 or 3 times if I needed anything. I am very well pleased with my stay.

Staff went above and beyond to help with special requests. Accommodations were excellent - I stay in Addis a lot for work and have tried many hotels - this is definitely one of the best for clean, functional rooms, hot water, and helpful staff. Airport shuttle was available and on time. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Addis - it is so easy and don't have to deal with the snafus that are so common at other hotels.
